I hog around with a PENTAX OPTIO M20 WITH LCD. 3X OPTICAL ZOOM. 7.0 MEGAPIXELS. ON TWO DOUBLE AA BATTERIES. You get four rechargeable batteries with a battery charger.

It’s a combination digital camera/camcorder and comes with ACDSee software for editing. The camera is pictured to the right.

When I tape videos, I edit with the software (ACDShowtime) and convert the .mov file to .mpg or .wma and then further edit with Window Movie Maker and upload the final product to YouTube and finally post them to this blog.

I could cut a few steps and send the video directly from ACDShowtime but I like to edit with Windows Movie Maker.

The digital video has as many features as the camera such as the

CONS OF PENTAX
As with as battery powered cameras, the battery die fast. Two charged batteries last about four hours while taking video and

I have 1 GB SCANDISK memory chip that I bought for $45.00 at Wal-Mart. inside and depending on the megapixels you can take hundreds of pictures. However, you only get 15 minutes to film anything in the .mov. Larger chips are available for much more money than $45.00.

Enough of this talk. I will detail the camera more as time goes on.

Enjoy the videos
